Breastfeeding can be really, really hard 

Make Sure To Reach Out If:

• Your nipples are cracked, bleeding, or painful so that we can make a feeding plan while we also heal your nipples
• When you try to breastfeed baby sucks a couple of times and falls asleep even If the nurses, hospital lactation consultant, and pediatrician all say 'this is normal' (it's NOT normal!)
• Baby is feeding for more than 30 minutes or is feeding every hour instead of every 2-3 hours even If everyone else says 'this is normal' (it's NOT normal!) 
• Baby cries and pushes away when you try to latch and you are wondering if you have enough milk, or if baby has an allergy to your milk, or if baby just doesn't like you 
• Baby always seems hungry and fussy and never really seems satisfied or has 'colic' even if everyone else says that it is just a phase and it will pass
