I have been on a clean-living journey since 2007 when my oldest daughter was a year old. This page is dedicated to sharing with you what I have learned and which products I have vetted and settled on in case you too are striving to live with cleaner products and have a healthier lifestyle. It can be hard to figure out what is just REALLY good marketing vs what actually passes the test.
Let's be honest, this is how my hair is most days...doing mom life in a ponytail. But, when I do blow it dry and wear something besides workout clothes it looks amazing and feels great and much of that credit goes to the products I use. I don't like to wash it every day and I don't have to now. Plus, my girls use it and I know they are not putting toxic chemicals all over their scalp and hair so it makes me feel good as a mama.

Best laundry detergent for babies.
I am asked all the time what laundry detergent is best/safest for babies?
As always, I will say, “whatever you feel is best…that’s what is best for YOUR baby," but for mamas who are seeking my opinion…here it is:
I do not like to use detergents with harsh chemicals in them…
As much as I love the smell of Dreft or many of the amazing smelling laundry detergents out there…they are not products I use due to the ingredients inside them.
Laundry soap was a super hard thing to settle on because the stuff that smells good and “clean” seems to have the most toxic ingredients…But the cleaner detergents didn’t make my clothes smell fresh🥴
I should tell you I have probably tried every “clean” laundry soap known to man.
I am a big fan of using ewg.org as a resource when vetting cleaning products for toxicity and doing a brand comparison.
When it comes to “what to use for baby?” I say use whatever you are going to use for the whole household because who has time to separate every baby item and wash it separately just to snuggle babe on your shoulder with clothes washed in a different detergent😉
Babies have super sensitive skin so the least toxic ingredients you can use, the better❤️
For my family, I have settled on Branch Basics for laundry.
It ranks high on EWGs website for many reasons, but the best feature for me is how clean my laundry feels and smells without any nasty chemicals.
If you’ve been on the hunt I highly recommend giving them a try.

I highly recommend the "Laundry Kit" to start.
